Over the years, Gulmarg became our winter home. We came for the snow, but stayed for the mountains, the lifestyle, and the friendships that slowly began to feel like family. Every season, one thought kept coming back to us: What if the Yaarana Fam had a place to call home in Kashmir too?
That dream eventually found its place in Tangmarg. When we met our host, Shahid Malik, the connection felt instant. The conversations were easy, the warmth was genuine, and we realised we shared the same idea of what a place should feel like not just somewhere you stay, but somewhere you feel welcome. And that’s how Yaarana Himalayan Nest was born.
Yaarana Himalayan Nest is a place to experience Kashmir beyond the postcards. Come for the thrill of snowboarding and skiing, discover local art and culture, learn from the people and mountains around you, work from a quieter place, or simply slow down for a while.
