DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi & Overnight Volvo Bus to Shimla

Arrive in Delhi by 7 pm to avoid any delays. Board a Volvo bus from ISBT Kashmere Gate around 10 pm.  

Day 2: Touchdown in Shimla – Temples, Views & Colonial Vibes

Arrive at Shimla Bus Stand by 7:30 am and transfer to your hotel. Freshen up, relax, and soak in the cool pine-scented air. In the evening, hike up to Jakhoo Temple for panoramic views, then explore the colonial charm of Mall Road and The Ridge as the city lights start to twinkle. Overnight Stay in Shimla

Day 3: Kufri Adventures & Narkanda Sunsets

After breakfast, head to Kufri for fun amidst apple orchards and deodar forests. Later, drive to Narkanda, a quiet hamlet in the hills. Visit Hatu Peak by evening and watch the golden light spill over the valley. Overnight Stay in Narkanda

Day 4: Into the Wild – Jalori Pass, Raghupur Fort & Serolsar Lake

Today, you journey deeper into Himachal. Cross the scenic Jalori Pass, then hike to Raghupur Fort and Serolsar Lake—an alpine beauty hugged by cedar woods. Reach the fairytale village of Jibhi by evening. Overnight Stay in  Jibhi

Day 5: Shangarh – Where Meadows Whisper Peace

Day 7: Art, Temples & Waterfalls – Welcome to Manali

Start your day with Roerich Art Gallery, a quiet walk to Jana Waterfall, and then drive into Manali. Explore Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, and wind up the evening with Mall Road’s cozy cafés. Overnight Stay in Manali.

Day 8: Waterfalls, Hot Springs & Old Manali Cafés

Begin your day with a visit to Vashisht Temple and its therapeutic hot springs. Hike up to Jogini Waterfall, and in the evening, get lost in the laid-back lanes of Old Manali. Overnight Stay in Manali.

Day 9: Road to Lahaul – Through Tunnels & Snow Valleys

Day 10: Offbeat Bliss – Prashar Lake & Drive to Bir

Day 11: Fly High – Paragliding in Bir

Wake up to adventure! Experience the thrill of paragliding from one of the world’s highest take-off points. Spend your day café-hopping or relaxing in the grassy landing zone. Overnight Stay in Bir.

Day 12: Temple Trails to Dalhousie – A Long Drive Through Cultures

Drive to Dalhousie via Dharamshala and McLeodganj. En route, visit Chamunda Devi Temple and soak in the spiritual energy of the Kangra Valley. Overnight Stay in Dalhousie.

Day 13: Khajjiar – Mini Switzerland & Departure from Pathankot

Post Checkout, wrap up the trip with a visit to Khajjiar’s pine-fringed meadows. Post-lunch, drive to Pathankot and board your Volvo for Delhi or Chandigarh with a heart full of mountain memories.

What time should we reach Delhi on Day 1 for the trip?
Ans: Arrive in Delhi by 7:00 PM on Day 1 to allow buffer time for any delays.

What time can we book our return from Delhi?
Ans: On Day 14, you will reach Delhi by 7:00 AM, so it’s safe to book return flights/trains after noon.

What are the starting and ending points of this trip?
Ans: This trip starts from Shimla and ends in Pathankot. Pickup is arranged from Shimla Bus Stand, and after visiting Khajjiar on the last day, i.e. Day 13, you’ll be dropped at Pathankot for your onward journey.

Is my Volvo Bus Ticket Included?
Ans: Yes, your Volvo bus ticket is included from Delhi to Shimla and from Pathankot to Delhi.

How many kilometres will we travel in total?
Ans: Ex-Shimla to Pathankot: Approx. 1000 km | Ex-Delhi or Ex-Chandigarh (including travel to/from start/end): Approx. 1600–1800 km

What kind of stays are provided?
Ans: Expect cosy stays in a mix of boutique hotels, scenic guesthouses, and mountain homestays. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and located in handpicked spots to give you the best vibes of each location.

Will there be network connectivity throughout the trip?
Ans: Most major towns like Shimla, Manali, Kasol, and Bir have good network coverage. However, offbeat places like Jalori Pass, Prashar Lake, and Shangarh may have limited to no connectivity, which is part of the charm!

Is the trip suitable for couples or families?
Ans: Absolutely!
This route offers a perfect mix of scenic beauty, cultural spots, and offbeat experiences—ideal for couples, friends, solo travellers, and families with older children.

How difficult are the hikes in this trip?
Ans: All hikes like Serolsar Lake, Raghupur Fort, Jogini Waterfall, and Prashar Lake are beginner-friendly and can be done at your own pace. We don’t recommend it for older people with diabetes, asthma or other medical problems.

Do you take bookings for private groups?
Ans: Yes! We take private bookings for couples and groups of 4, 6 or more. Please check the Price Chart for Group Bookings. 

What kind of weather should we expect?
Ans: Expect
pleasant days (15°C to 25°C) and cool nights (C to 15°C), depending on the month and altitude. Always carry warm layers, especially for high-altitude areas like Jalori and Lahaul.

What kind of temperatures can we expect from April to December on this trip?
Ans:
Temperatures vary with altitude and season, but overall, you can expect pleasant days and cool to cold nights.

  1. April to June (Spring–Summer): Mild days between 18°C–28°C, cooler evenings from 8°C–15°C.
  2. July to September (Monsoon): Lush landscapes with day temperatures around 20°C–25°C, and nights from 10°C–16°C.
  3. October to December (Autumn–Early Winter): Crisp, clear days between 15°C–22°C, with colder nights dipping to 3°C–10°C, especially in higher-altitude locations like Narkanda, Shangarh, and Lahaul.

What are the must-carry essentials?
Ans: The Following are the most essential 

  1. Valid ID, power bank, torch
  2. Warm clothes, rain gear, and good walking shoes
  3. Basic medicines, sunscreen, sunglasses
  4. Water bottle & light snacks for drives/hikes
IMPORTANT NOTES

Pack Smart: Carry layered clothing, including a good windproof jacket, thermals for colder nights, and a rain jacket (especially for July–Sept).

Pack Light: Every day you will be hoping to new locations, so pack your bag accordingly. Keep the ones needed on top. Watch a video on how to pack a rucksack 

Road Conditions: Himachal roads can be winding and narrow, especially around Jalori Pass, Lahaul, and Prashar Lake.

Stay Connected: Wi-Fi and mobile networks (especially Jio & Airtel) work well in Shimla, Manali, and Bir. Remote areas like Shangarh and Jalori Pass may have limited signal.

Cash is King in Remote Areas: ATMS are limited in places like Jibhi, Shangarh, and Lahaul. Keep sufficient cash for local expenses.

Respect Local Culture: This trip passes through spiritual sites like Manikaran Sahib and Chamunda Temple. etc Dress modestly and follow site protocols.

Weather Readiness: Sudden weather changes are common in the mountains. Always keep a light raincoat and sun protection handy.

Advisory for Paragliding, River and other adventure activities: Paragliding in Bir is weather-dependent. The call will be taken a day before the activity.

Sustainable Travel: Help preserve Himachal’s beauty—carry a refillable bottle, avoid plastic, and don’t litter during hikes or visits.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION TERMS

Payment Terms:

  • For Private Groups: Booking Amount ₹5,000 per person (Non-refundable) to confirm your slot.

Payment Schedule for Private Bookings:

  • 50% of the remaining package price to be paid within 15 days from the booking date.
  • The remaining 50% of the balance amount to be paid 15 days before the departure date.
  • Payment can be made via UPI, Bank Transfer, or Online Payment Link (details shared upon booking).

Cancellation Terms: 

If you cancel the trip:

  • More than 30 days before departure: 50% of the total amount will be refunded (excluding booking amount i.e 5,000).
  • 15-30 days before departure: 25% of the total amount will be refunded (excluding booking amount i.e 5,000).
  • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund applicable.

If we cancel the trip (due to unforeseen reasons like weather, strikes, war or natural calamities):

  • You will be given the option to: Get a full balance refund (excluding the booking amount i.e 5,000), or
  • Shift to another date/available trip at no extra cost.
